Greater peace of mind. Longer protection. At no extra cost.
As part of our August promotion, private and business customers with a delivery address within the geographical scope receive a voluntary 12-month VSG24 extended warranty with their eligible order placed through the VSG24 online shop, free of charge and without any additional registration.
The extended warranty applies to all physical goods purchased for payment that are listed on the corresponding invoice, identified as covered by the warranty in the warranty certificate and not expressly excluded from the promotion.
The additional warranty begins on the calendar date corresponding to the invoice date two years later. It ends at the end of the day immediately preceding the corresponding calendar date three years after the invoice date.
The regular value of the extended warranty is based on the total final amount of the corresponding invoice and ranges from EUR 9.99 to EUR 99.99 in accordance with the applicable VSG24 warranty pricing tiers.
The voluntary VSG24 extended warranty applies in addition to statutory and contractual rights relating to defects. These rights are neither restricted nor replaced by the warranty.
Promotion and Warranty Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter and Warrantor
The promoter of the August promotion and the warrantor providing the voluntary VSG24 extended warranty is:
Vega Solutions GmbH – VSG24
Belgische Allee 51a
53842 Troisdorf
Germany
Telephone: +49 2241 200 80 40
Email: info@vsg24.com
Website: www.vsg24.com
Vega Solutions GmbH is also referred to below as “VSG24”.
2. Relationship with Statutory and Contractual Rights Relating to Defects
Consumers have statutory rights against the seller where purchased goods are defective. Exercising these statutory rights is free of charge.
Consumers’ statutory rights relating to defects are neither restricted nor replaced by the voluntary VSG24 extended warranty. Consumers may exercise their statutory rights independently of this warranty and regardless of whether a warranty claim exists under these warranty terms.
The statutory and contractual rights relating to defects held by businesses and commercial customers also remain unaffected by this voluntary warranty. These rights are governed by the statutory provisions and contractual agreements applicable to the relevant purchase agreement.
The VSG24 extended warranty is a separate, voluntary warranty commitment. It does not extend the statutory limitation periods for claims relating to defects.
Any statutory extensions, suspensions or restarts of limitation periods remain unaffected.
The voluntary VSG24 warranty may apply at the same time as existing statutory or contractual rights relating to defects. In such cases, the customer may decide on which basis to assert their rights.
3. Promotion Period
The promotion applies to eligible orders that are fully submitted to VSG24 through the standard checkout process in the VSG24 online shop during the period
from 1 August 2026 at 00:00 until 31 August 2026 at 23:59.
The decisive time is the time at which the order is recorded as received in VSG24’s ordering system, based on Central European Summer Time.
The order must be accepted by VSG24, paid in full, invoiced and fulfilled.
Orders that are cancelled, not accepted or terminated due to non-payment do not qualify for the extended warranty.
Where payment is not completed until after 31 August 2026, eligibility is retained provided that:
- the order was fully received during the promotion period,
- subsequently accepted by VSG24,
- paid in full,
- properly invoiced and the ordered goods were delivered.
4. Eligible Customers
All customers who complete an eligible order directly through the standard checkout process in the VSG24 online shop are eligible.
This includes in particular:
- consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code,
- businesses within the meaning of Section 14 of the German Civil Code,
- commercial operators,
- self-employed persons,
- freelancers,
- legal entities,
- partnerships with legal capacity,
- public authorities and other organisations.
The free extended warranty therefore applies to both private and business customers.
5. Eligible Orders and Sales Channels
The free extended warranty applies exclusively to orders completed directly through the shopping basket and standard checkout process in the VSG24 online shop at www.vsg24.com.
The promotion does not apply in particular to purchases made through:
- Amazon,
- eBay,
- other online marketplaces,
- other dealers or resellers,
- physical retail outlets,
- external sales platforms,
- price comparison portals with their own checkout process,
- orders submitted in writing or individually prepared quotations outside the online shop checkout process.
This also applies where goods purchased through a marketplace or another sales channel were offered, sold or dispatched by VSG24.
The determining factor is the sales channel through which the purchase agreement was concluded.
By way of exception, VSG24 may expressly include an order in the promotion in text form. Customers have no entitlement to such inclusion.
6. Goods Covered by the Warranty
The extended warranty is assigned to the entire order shown on the corresponding invoice.
As a general rule, it applies to all physical goods purchased for payment that:
- were ordered directly through the VSG24 online shop during the promotion period,
- are listed on the corresponding invoice,
- were accepted,
- invoiced and delivered by VSG24,
- are identified as warranty-covered order items in the warranty certificate and were not expressly excluded from the promotion before the order was completed.
Where several units of the same product are purchased, all units shown on the invoice are covered by the warranty up to the invoiced quantity.
Making a warranty claim for one product does not affect the warranty coverage of the remaining products on the same invoice. Several independent warranty claims relating to different products from the same order may therefore be made during the warranty period.
B-grade goods, inspected returns, used or refurbished products and items marked as display models are also included in the promotion unless they are expressly excluded on the relevant product page or, at the latest, in the shopping basket.
The following are not considered goods or services covered by the warranty:
- Shipping and packaging services,
- Installation, repair and other services,
- Vouchers and credit balances,
- Paid warranty products,
- Extended warranties already purchased separately,
- Complimentary promotional items,
- Free gifts,
- Goods invoiced at a price of EUR 0.00,
- Standalone digital content or digital services,
- Other non-physical products and services.
The total value of the order is not relevant when determining which goods are covered by the warranty. It is used solely to calculate the regular value of the extended warranty.
Where a specific product cannot take part in the promotion for technical or legal reasons, this will be expressly indicated on the product page or, at the latest, in the shopping basket before the order is submitted.
7. Regular Value and Pricing Tiers of the Extended Warranty
The regular value of the 12-month VSG24 extended warranty is based on the total final amount of the corresponding invoice.
The warranty value is not calculated separately for each product or order item.
During the August promotion, the extended warranty is provided free of charge at a price of EUR 0.00.
The following pricing tiers apply:
Total final invoice amount | Regular value of the extended warranty
EUR 0.01 to EUR 49.99 | EUR 9.99
EUR 50.00 to EUR 99.99 | EUR 14.99
EUR 100.00 to EUR 199.99 | EUR 19.99
EUR 200.00 to EUR 299.99 | EUR 39.99
EUR 300.00 to EUR 499.99 | EUR 59.99
EUR 500.00 or more | EUR 99.99
The regular value of the extended warranty therefore does not exceed EUR 99.99.
The stated amounts are gross prices and include applicable German VAT.
The comparison prices correspond to the VSG24 pricing tier applicable to a 12-month extended warranty with a comparable scope of cover.
Relevant Final Invoice Amount
The final invoice amount shown on the invoice determines the applicable pricing tier. This amount is calculated after all discounts and price reductions shown on the invoice have been deducted and includes the VAT actually charged, invoiced shipping and packaging costs and any other ancillary costs shown on the invoice.
Where an invoice is issued without VAT or as a net invoice to a business, the final invoice amount actually shown on the invoice is decisive. VAT that has not been charged is not added when determining the pricing tier.
Payment vouchers, gift vouchers and customer credit balances are treated as means of payment and do not reduce the relevant final invoice amount where they are used solely to pay an invoice amount that has already been determined.
Where the invoice is issued in a currency other than euros, the euro equivalent shown on the invoice is decisive. Where no euro equivalent is shown, VSG24 will use the conversion rate recorded for the invoice on the invoice date.
Sets and Bundles
A set or bundle offered as a single order item is treated as one product.
The warranty covers the devices and components included in the original scope of delivery of the set or bundle according to the original product description.
As a general rule, the failure of an individual component only gives rise to a warranty claim for the affected component and does not entitle the customer to replacement of the entire set where the individual component can reasonably be repaired or replaced.
No Payment of the Warranty Value
The regular value stated in the table is provided to indicate the financial value of the extended warranty granted free of charge as part of the promotion.
The warranty value cannot be paid out in cash, offset, credited or refunded.
The warranty value does not increase either the purchase price or the value of the goods covered by the warranty.
The regular warranty value is not an upper limit for the cost of a repair, replacement delivery or any other warranty service owed under these terms.
8. Automatic Provision and Allocation
The extended warranty is automatically provided free of charge with every eligible order.
No promotional code, separate application or subsequent product registration is required.
The extended warranty is assigned to the entire order shown on the corresponding invoice.
The allocation is based in particular on:
- the warranty certificate number,
- order number,
- invoice number,
- invoice date,
- final invoice amount,
- order items,
- item numbers,
- product descriptions and invoiced quantities.
The free extended warranty is shown as a separate free item in the order, order confirmation or invoice, or in a separate warranty document. The terms “warranty certificate” and “warranty document” used in these conditions refer to the same document: the record in which VSG24 specifies the goods covered by the warranty, the scope of cover and the warranty period for the particular order. This record may be provided as a separate document or incorporated into the order confirmation, acknowledgement of order or invoice.
If the warranty item is missing from the order confirmation, invoice or acknowledgement of order due to a technical error, the warranty entitlement remains valid provided that the order can be shown to meet all eligibility requirements.
The warranty cannot be transferred to goods from another order or invoice.
The same order cannot be extended more than once through several free promotional warranties unless VSG24 expressly confirms an additional extension in text form.
The free August promotional warranty cannot be combined with another additional VSG24 warranty covering the same goods for the same warranty period.
Where a paid VSG24 extended warranty is accidentally ordered during the promotion period for the same order and the same warranty period, the price charged for it will be refunded.
A warranty extending beyond the period specified in these terms only arises where VSG24 expressly confirms this in the order confirmation or in a separate warranty document.
9. Start and Duration of the Extended Warranty
The warranty period is calculated exclusively on the basis of the invoice date shown on the corresponding invoice.
The free VSG24 extended warranty covers a period of twelve months.
It begins on the calendar date corresponding to the invoice date two years later and ends at the end of the day immediately preceding the corresponding calendar date three years after the invoice date.
The warranty therefore applies from the beginning of the 25th month until the end of the 36th month following the invoice date.
Example
Invoice date: 10 April 2026
Start of the extended warranty: 10 April 2028
End of the extended warranty: 9 April 2029
The warranty period therefore lasts exactly twelve months.
Where the corresponding calendar date does not exist in the relevant month, the final calendar day of that month applies.
An order, dispatch or delivery date that differs from the invoice date is not relevant when calculating the warranty period.
Where an invoice is corrected solely for accounting or formal reasons, without the order being fully reversed and placed again, the original invoice date remains decisive.
Where the original order is fully cancelled and subsequently placed and invoiced again, the invoice date of the new order is decisive.
Multiple Invoices for One Order
Where an order is divided between several invoices, each invoice is treated separately for the purpose of allocating the warranty.
In this case:
- the relevant warranty covers the warranty-protected goods listed on the invoice concerned,
- the warranty value is based on the final amount of that invoice
- and the warranty period is based on the date of that invoice.
A repair or replacement under this voluntary warranty does not generally restart or extend the warranty period.
Repaired or replaced goods and components remain covered for the remainder of the warranty period applicable to the original invoice.
Mandatory statutory rights and legally prescribed extensions of time limits remain unaffected.
10. Cancellation, Returns, Order Cancellation and Credit Notes
Where the entire order is validly cancelled, withdrawn from or fully reversed, the extended warranty ceases to apply in full.
In the event of a partial return, cancellation or full credit note, the warranty ceases to apply only to the affected goods.
The warranty remains valid for the goods retained by the customer and still purchased for payment under the invoice.
Where the purchase price of a product is refunded in full, the extended warranty for that product ceases to apply.
Following a partial return, cancellation or subsequent credit note, the regular value of the extended warranty is recalculated on the basis of the final remaining invoice amount.
A change in the regular warranty value does not alter either the start or the end of the warranty period.
The free warranty service cannot be paid out or converted into credit.
The extended warranty granted free of charge cannot be returned, cancelled, paid out or offset separately.
11. Scope of the Warranty
VSG24 warrants that, during the warranty period and when used for their intended purpose, the goods covered by the warranty will retain the functionality required for ordinary use and remain free from defects in materials, manufacturing defects and significant functional defects.
A warranty claim arises in particular where a defect in materials, manufacturing or functionality appears in a warranty-covered product during the warranty period and causes the product to:
- fail completely,
- prevents an essential function from being used
- or substantially impairs its intended use.
The product does not have to become completely inoperable. A significant partial failure may also constitute a warranty claim.
For consumers, a material defect arising during the validity period of the durability guarantee is presumed to give rise to rights under the warranty unless this presumption is incompatible with the nature of the goods or the defect.
VSG24 may demonstrate that no warranty claim exists, in particular where the defect is attributable to a circumstance expressly excluded from the warranty.
The failure of an individual product or component generally gives rise only to warranty claims relating to the affected product or component and does not create an entitlement to repair or replacement of the entire order.
The decisive factor is that the defect covered by the warranty becomes apparent during the warranty period.
The customer should notify VSG24 promptly after discovering the defect.
Where the defect is not reported until after the warranty period has expired, suitable evidence must make it reasonably clear that the defect had already become apparent during the warranty period.
VSG24 is entitled to inspect the affected product and determine the cause of the defect itself or through a suitable service provider.
12. Goods with Digital Elements and Firmware
The warranty also covers firmware and other digital components included in the original scope of delivery where their proper functioning is required for the intended use of the warranty-covered product.
A warranty claim may arise in particular where a defect in the firmware originally provided prevents an essential product function from being used.
The voluntary warranty does not cover faults or limitations caused exclusively by:
- software not provided or approved by VSG24,
- firmware not provided or approved by VSG24,
- third-party apps or operating systems,
- subsequent changes to external interfaces, mobile, Wi-Fi, satellite or other communications networks,
- the discontinuation or alteration of third-party services,
- or a lack of compatibility resulting from subsequent changes to third-party products.
Statutory update obligations and rights relating to defects in goods with digital elements remain unaffected.
13. Services Provided in the Event of a Warranty Claim
Where a warranty claim exists, VSG24 will provide a remedy for the affected product or component free of charge.
After inspecting the defect and giving reasonable consideration to the customer’s interests, VSG24 will decide whether the remedy will consist of repairing the affected product, repairing or replacing a defective component, or supplying a defect-free and equivalent replacement product.
Where repair is not technically or economically reasonable, VSG24 may replace the product or affected component with an equivalent product or component.
Where the original model is no longer available, a technically and economically equivalent successor model may be supplied. The replacement product must not be inferior in terms of its essential functions and characteristics.
Consumers will only receive a refurbished replacement product where they have expressly requested one.
VSG24 will complete the remedy within a reasonable period after the customer has notified VSG24 of the defect.
For consumers, the remedy will be provided without significant inconvenience, taking into account the nature of the goods and the purpose for which the consumer requires them.
Where a repair fails or a further repair cannot reasonably be expected, the affected product or component will generally be replaced.
Return of Replaced or Compensated Goods
Where the customer receives a replacement product or component under the warranty, the replaced defective product or component must be returned to VSG24.
VSG24 will take back the replaced or compensated product or component at its own expense.
VSG24 will provide a returns label or, following prior agreement, arrange another suitable return method.
No Compensation for Use Where Replacement Goods Are Supplied to Consumers
Where a consumer receives a replacement product or component, they are not required to pay compensation for their previous use of the defective product.
The value of previous use will not be deducted from the value of the replacement product.
Any further mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
14. Costs in the Event of a Warranty Claim
Costs for installation or removal, workshop and diagnostic services and other third-party services are generally not covered. Mandatory statutuory claims and services expressly agreed by contract remain unaffected.
If a product needs to be returned, VSG24 will provide the customer with a return label.
Alternatively, following prior agreement, VSG24 will reimburse the necessary cost of an appropriate standard shipping method. Carriage-forward and cash-on-delivery consignments may be sent only with VSG24´s prior approval.
Rules for Businesses and Commercial Customers
For businesses and commercial customers, the voluntary warranty generally covers inspection by VSG24, repair of the warranty-covered product, replacement of the warranty-covered product or affected component, required spare parts and necessary standard shipping costs.
Unless VSG24 has confirmed their coverage in text form in advance, the voluntary warranty for businesses and commercial customers does not include:
- installation costs,
- removal costs,
- workshop costs,
- external labour costs,
- third-party diagnostic costs,
- travel and call-out costs,
- costs charged by a vehicle manufacturer or installation company,
- replacement vehicle costs,
- loss of use,
- business interruption,
- downtime costs or any other costs arising from third-party work or services.
Mandatory statutory claims and claims expressly agreed by contract with the business remain unaffected.
15. Warranty Exclusions
The warranty does not cover damage, defects or impaired functionality caused in particular by:
- use that is not in accordance with the product’s intended purpose,
- improper use,
- incorrect installation,
- installation contrary to the operating or installation instructions,
- operating errors,
- incorrect polarity,
- an unsuitable power supply or a power supply outside the product specification,
- overvoltage,
- short circuits,
- incorrect wiring,
- mechanical damage,
- accidents, falls,
- impacts or external force,
- alterations or modifications to the product,
- cutting, removing or unauthorised alteration of cables,
- modification or removal of connectors, alteration of components,
- opening the housing where this is not permitted by the operating instructions,
- repairs or intervention by third parties not authorised by VSG24,
- use of unsuitable accessories,
- use outside the specified technical specifications,
- environmental influences outside the stated protection rating or product specification,
- improper cleaning,
- chemical or aggressive cleaning agents,
- fire,
- lightning,
- flooding,
- force majeure,
- deliberate damage.
The warranty also does not cover:
- normal wear and tear arising from use,
- ordinary age- and use-related reductions in the capacity of rechargeable batteries or batteries,
- consumables,
- purely cosmetic signs of use that do not affect functionality,
- loss of or damage to stored data or recordings,
- damage to memory cards or storage media unless they are expressly part of the warranty-covered product,
- or damage to vehicles or other property unless VSG24 is liable under mandatory statutory provisions.
A defect is not excluded from the warranty solely because the product has been installed in or attached to a vehicle in accordance with its nature and intended purpose.
Where VSG24 relies on a warranty exclusion, there must be a demonstrable connection between the excluded circumstance and the defect that occurred.
For consumers, the statutory presumption in favour of a material defect arising during the warranty period remains unaffected.
Statutory rights relating to defects and other mandatory statutory claims remain unaffected by the warranty exclusions.
16. Accessories, Wear Parts, Rechargeable Batteries and Batteries
Accessories and components are covered by the warranty where they:
formed part of the original scope of delivery of a warranty-covered product or set and the defect is attributable to a defect in materials, manufacturing or significant functionality.
Ordinary wear and tear affecting consumables and wear parts is not covered.
For rechargeable batteries and batteries, an ordinary reduction in capacity caused by age, charging cycles, storage, temperature and use does not constitute a warranty claim.
A defect in materials or manufacturing or an unusual total failure of a rechargeable battery may be covered by the warranty provided that no warranty exclusion applies.
17. Making a Warranty Claim
To make a warranty claim, the customer may contact VSG24 customer service:
Vega Solutions GmbH – VSG24
Belgische Allee 51a
53842 Troisdorf
Germany
Telephone: +49 2241 200 80 40
Email: info@vsg24.com
Customers may make contact by email, telephone or post in particular. No specific form is required.
Where possible, the customer should provide:
- the warranty certificate number,
- order number,
- invoice number,
- item number and product description of the affected product,
- the corresponding order item,
- a description of the defect,
- the date on which the defect first occurred
- and the circumstances in which it occurs.
Photographs or videos may assist in analysing the defect. They are required only where it is possible and reasonable for the customer to produce them.
As a general rule, the VSG24 order or invoice number and the information contained in the warranty certificate are sufficient as evidence.
Where these details do not allow the product to be clearly identified, VSG24 may request another suitable proof of purchase or warranty.
The original packaging is not required in order to make a warranty claim.
18. Inspection and Return
After the customer has made contact, VSG24 will provide information on the next steps.
Depending on the nature of the defect, technical checks may initially be carried out together with the customer. This is intended to avoid unnecessary removal, returns and downtime.
Where the product must be sent in, VSG24 will provide the customer with:
- the return address,
- the required return information
- and, where applicable, the details of a returns label.
The affected product must be made available to VSG24 for inspection and remedy.
The customer should package the product securely for transport. Where possible, accessories that are not required for the inspection should remain with the customer.
Where VSG24 determines that a warranty claim exists, the remedy will be provided in accordance with these warranty terms.
Where it can be demonstrated that a warranty exclusion applies, VSG24 will inform the customer of:
- the inspection result,
- the identified cause of the defect
- and any available paid repair or replacement options.
A paid repair, return or disposal will only be carried out after the customer has been informed and has given their consent.
19. Geographical Scope
The warranty applies to orders originally delivered by VSG24 to a delivery address in Germany, a Member State of the European Union, a Member State of the European Economic Area or Switzerland.
For other countries, the warranty applies only where its validity was expressly confirmed on the product page, in the shopping basket or in a separate warranty document before the order was completed.
The delivery country stated in the original order is decisive.
Where warranty-covered goods are subsequently moved to another country, VSG24’s coverage of costs is generally limited to the shipping and processing costs that would have been incurred if the claim had been handled from the original delivery country.
Any additional shipping, customs, import or processing costs arising because the goods were subsequently moved to another country are borne by the customer unless mandatory statutory provisions provide otherwise.
20. Transferability
As a general rule, the warranty is tied to the original purchaser and the order or invoice identified in the warranty certificate.
The warranty cannot be transferred to:
- goods from another order,
- another invoice or
- another person
unless VSG24 expressly agrees to the transfer in text form.
The warranty remains valid following a simple change of company name, corporate transformation or legal succession, provided that the identity or legal succession of the original purchaser can be demonstrated.
21. Liability and Further Claims
The voluntary warranty covers the services described in these terms.
Further claims based solely on the voluntary warranty, in particular claims for compensation for:
- loss of use,
- loss of profit,
- business interruption,
- downtime,
- indirect damage,
- consequential damage or lost data or recordings,
are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
This does not affect claims arising from:
- intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty,
- injury to life, limb or health,
- the German Product Liability Act,
- mandatory statutory liability provisions,
- or statutory or contractual rights relating to defects.
22. Provision of the Warranty Terms Before Ordering
The promotion and warranty terms are made available to consumers in a clear and understandable form before they submit their order.
They can be accessed on the promotion page and through a clearly visible notice or link on the product page, in the shopping basket or during the checkout process.
The warranty terms can be saved and printed before the order is completed.
The key conditions of the promotion, in particular:
- the promotion period,
- eligible goods,
- required sales channel,
- scope of the warranty,
- warranty duration,
- relevant invoice date,
- regular warranty value and applicable warranty exclusions,
are displayed to the customer before the order is submitted or made available through the full promotion and warranty terms.
23. Provision on a Durable Medium
The promotion and warranty terms applicable to the specific order are provided to the consumer on a durable medium no later than the time of delivery, for example:
- as a PDF file by email,
- as an attachment to the order confirmation,
- as an attachment to the invoice,
- as an attachment to the dispatch confirmation,
- as part of a warranty certificate or in paper form together with the goods.
VSG24 also provides the terms to business customers on a durable medium.
The version of the warranty terms provided to the customer for the specific order is decisive.
VSG24 archives the version of the warranty terms applicable to the promotion so that they can be clearly assigned to the relevant order or invoice at a later date.
24. Amendment or Early Termination of the Promotion
VSG24 may amend or terminate the promotion early for future orders that have not yet been completed in the event of:
- unforeseeable technical faults,
- demonstrable misuse,
- manipulation or force majeure.
Orders that have already been completed and are eligible, as well as warranty claims arising from them, remain unaffected by an amendment or early termination.
Any warranty commitment that has already become binding for a completed order on the basis of promotional information available before or at the time the contract was concluded also remains unaffected.
25. Final Provisions
Should any provision of these promotion and warranty terms be or become wholly or partially invalid, the remaining provisions will remain unaffected.
The applicable statutory provisions will replace the invalid provision.
Version of the promotion and warranty terms: 1 August 2026
